Reds Pitcher Clears Waivers

The Cincinnati Reds will not be losing pitcher Robert Dugger, as he has cleared waivers. With that, he has also agreed to be sent down to Triple-A Louisville instead of becoming a free agent.

Dugger will now be hoping to impress in Triple-A in hopes of landing himself another call-up to the Reds. He has pitched in two games this season between the Tampa Bay Rays and Reds, where he sports a 0-0 record and 6.48 ERA.

At this juncture of his career, Dugger is still trying to prove that he is a major league-caliber pitcher. In 25 career games between the Marlins, Mariners, Rays, and Reds, he has a 0-6 record to go along with a 7.29 ERA. Let's see if he has the chance to improve on these totals before the season is out.
