Orioles Claim Pitcher Off Waivers

The Baltimore Orioles have claimed Logan Allen off waivers from the Cleveland Guardians.

Allen was recently designated for assignment by Cleveland, but he has now found a new home with the Orioles. This could be a very good opportunity for him, as it seems that the 24-year-old is a lock to stay on their major league roster. Furthermore, with John Means and Chris Ellis done for the year, it could open the door for Allen to be a starter for the O's.

Allen was once viewed as a Top 100 Prospect, but things have changed a bit on that front. However, perhaps a change of scenery could help him find his full potential. In 30 career games between the Padres and Cleveland, he has a 5-10 record and 5.80 ERA.
