Dodgers Sign Reliever To Contract Extension
The Los Angeles Dodgers have signed Blake Treinen to a one-year contract extension.
Treinen had a club option for the 2023 season, and now the team is for sure going to keep him around for it. Since arriving to Los Angeles during the 2020 season, the veteran has been excellent. In 102 games with the Dodgers, he has a 10-9 record to go along with a 2.50 ERA. Overall, he has provided reliability to the bullpen, and that is always needed.
Treinen is currently sidelined due to a shoulder injury. Before it, he was off to another pretty solid start in 2022, as he has a 1-1 record and 3.00 ERA in three games.
