Video: Byron Buxton Hits Back-To-Back-To-Back Home Runs

It's safe to say that the Minnesota Twins are ecstatic that they signed Byron Buxton his seven-year, $100 million contract extension. The 28-year-old showed his immense skill at the plate, as he hit back-to-back-back home runs over the team's previous two games.

If Buxton can stay healthy this season, it could be a big year for him. He has shown over the last few seasons that he can be a power threat, but he unfortunately has deal with a lot of injury trouble in the process. In 39 games in 2020, he had an impressive 13 home runs. He then followed that up with 19 in just 61 games.

The Twins and Mariners finish off their four-game set on Monday night. It will be very intriguing to see if Buxton can continue to hit this well as the season progresses. Right now, these three home runs have him at the top of the league in this statistic, so let's see if he can keep it going from here.
