Seattle Mariners Release Catcher

The Seattle Mariners have released Chance Sisco from his minor league contract.

With the Mariner having several other options at catcher, it is understandable that they have decided to part ways with Sisco. Although it certainly stings for the veteran, he will likely find another home shortly. There are plenty of teams who could view him as a solid depth option moving forward.

Sisco comes with a decent amount of overall experience and has made appearances at the major league level each year since 2017. In 196 career games between the Baltimore Orioles and New York Mets, he has 16 home runs, 54 RBIs, and a .197 batting average.

Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see what happens with Sisco from here.
