Big Updates Regarding Mike Trout And Anthony Rendon

According to Mike DiGiovanna of The Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Angels stars Mike Trout and Anthony Rendon are both healthy and ready to go for Spring Training.

Trout sustained a season-ending calf injury in May during the regular season, while Rendon's season ended in August due to a left hamstring injury and hip problem. However, both stars are now looking good, and that's a major boost for the Angels.

Trout of course is the face of the franchise, and that won't be changing any time soon. Over the course of his 11-year career, he has 310 home runs, 816 RBIs, and a .305 batting average. With that, he is a three-time MVP, nine-time All-Star, two-time Hank Aaron Award winner, and eight-time Silver Slugger. Needless to say, having a superstar like him back in the lineup will be massive for the team.

Rendon struggled in his second season with the Angels, but that wS likely due to his nagging injury trouble. In 58 games, he had six home runs, 34 RBIs, and a .240 batting average. He is capable of doing a lot more and now will have the chance to this upcoming campaign. Keep in mind, he also is an All-Star and two-time Silver Slugger.

Nevertheless, the Angels are looking to get back into the playoffs this season. Having two more of their key players ready to go is big for them. Once the lockout is over, let's see how much they improve from their 77-85 record.
