Video: Boston Red Sox Infielder Celebrates After Making Routine Play

Even though it's the postseason, Boston Red Sox first baseman Kyle Schwarber is still having fun. After making an error the previous inning, Schwarber celebrated when he successfully flipped the ball to pitcher Nathan Eovaldi to make an easy out at first base. He entertainingly raised his arms up to the sky and then lifted his cap to the Red Sox fans.
Schwarber had a strong day at the plate, as he had three hits in five plate appearances. With that, he led off the bottom of the first inning with a home run. However, Bobby Dalbec would pinch run for him after his single in the ninth inning.

Nonetheless, it's always a joy to watch an MLB player have some fun while playing. He clearly has become a favorite amongst Red Sox fans since they acquired him from the Washington Nationals. In 41 regular season games in Boston, he had seven home runs, 18 RBIs and a .291 batting average. If he keeps hitting this well during the postseason, the Red Sox should certainly be looking to extend him this winter.
