3 Potential Landing Spots For Kris Bryant

Kris Bryant is another star who is set to hit the open market as a free agent this winter. There will be a lot of teams interested in the versatile All-Star, as he provides a bit of everything to a lineup. He also is still just 29 years old, so he shouldn't show signs of regression any time soon.

Here are three teams who seem like potential landing spots for him.

San Francisco Giants: If the San Francisco Giants are able to find a way to re-sign Kris Bryant, it is very hard to believe that they wouldn't. Bryant is a four-time All-Star and the type of player every team would love to have. After being traded to the Giants from the Chicago Cubs this season, he had seven home runs, 22 RBIs and a .262 batting average. With the Giants coming off of a fantastic 107-win campaign, don't be surprised to see them at least try to bring back the 29-year-old.

Chicago Cubs: Bryant openly stated that he would be open to a reunion with the Cubs multiple times.  Although the Cubs struggled this season, Bryant was a true star for them and was loved by many fans. During his tenure with them, he won the NL Rookie of the Year, NL Hank Aaron Award, World Series and was a four-time All-Star. If the Cubs offer him a contract, Bryant will surely consider it.

Philadelphia Phillies: Due to Bryant's close friendship with Bryce Harper, one has to wonder if the Phillies will be in play. The Phillies are heading into this winter with the desire to add another middle-of-the-order hitter and Bryant surely fits that description. The Phillies need to improve their roster to get back into the postseason, as this year's 82-80 record just didn't cut it.
