Phillies Wheeler Embarrassed to Get Swept by Diamondbacks

The Philadelphia Phillies are not in a good head space after getting swept by the dismal Arizona Diamondbacks. Their division remains wide open and the Phillies can't be losing to teams they should be easily beating.

Phillies starter Zack Wheeler didn't hold back when he spoke to the media about getting swept by the D-Backs:

This is a team you don't want to get swept by. It's just true. We have to take it personal

The Phils now have a 61-60 record and are four games back of the Atlanta Braves. To give you an idea the Diamondbacks are 41-81 and have a minus -166 run differential. As for Wheeler he's having himself a fine season, and is in the Cy Young conversation. He owns a 2.77 ERA over his 25 starts and will be looking to bounce back in his next start next week.
