[WATCH] Brewers Pound Pirates, Remain Hottest Team in Baseball

The Milwaukee Brewers have won 11 straight games after beating the Pittsburgh Pirates 11-2 on Saturday to remain the hottest team in the league. The team was led by Omar Narvaez who recorded five hits in the victory.

It's the teams' longest winning streak since the 1987 season, when they won 13 in a row. The Brewers lead the NL central and are showing the league they are a serious contending this season to win it all. Avisail Garcia knocked in five runs on Saturday and had this to say about how his team is playing:

It’s fun. I think everybody is playing together, everybody is playing hard, everybody is trying to do their part. It’s not one, two, three guys. It’s everyone contributing and that’s how we have to win ballgames.

As for the Pirates, they have now lost six games in a row and have scored only seven times during this span. The four-game series wraps up on Sunday as the Brewers send RHP Freddy Peralta (7-2, 2.17 ERA) to the bump against the Pirates LHP Tyler Anderson (3-8, 4.75 ERA).
