Yankees Talking Trade to Acquire Outfield Help

The New York Yankees are going to be adding this season as the team is going for it once again. Well duh, they are the Yankees and anything less than a World Series is unacceptable. Turns out general manager & senior vice president Brian Cashman has been talking to several clubs and the team is getting close to landing a new outfielder.

While we've reported on the team's interest in outfielder Starling Marte, there's another couple of names that have surfaced who the Yankees hold a certain level of interest in. They include the likes of Kyle Schwarber from the Washington Nationals and Joey Gallo of the Texas Rangers. Both left-handed bats with a ton of pop, which sets up perfectly for the short porch in right at Yankee Stadium.

Adam Duvall of the Miami Marlins is another name that is on their radar and there's certainly a history between the Yanks and Marlins so don't be surprised if this dialogue picks up. So far this season the 31-year-old is batting .205 with 12 HR and 42 RBI. He may be swinging and missing a lot but Duvall has some serious juice in his bat which could play well in the Yankees lineup.

While the team unloaded Mike Ford to the Tampa Bay Rays, don't expect to see anymore 'selling' from Cashman and the Yankees. They are going for it this season and will be adding some more firepower to their lineup within the next few weeks.
