Video: Indians' Naylor Fractures Leg in Horrible Collision With Teammate

Cleveland Indians teammates Josh Naylor and Ernie Clement collided during Sunday's game against the Minnesota Twins and Naylor got the worst of it. Naylor has been diagnosed with a closed fracture and dislocation of his right ankle.

The two ran into each other as they were tracking a blooper, Naylor coming from the outfield and Clement heading out from second base. It was obvious at impact the outfielder received the brunt of the blow as Clement was able to throw the ball in, while Naylor laid in pain and was later carted off the field.

Indians manager Terry Francona had this to say after the game:

We know that there's a fracture. Other than that, he's being evaluated over at the hospital right now. We'll know more, I hope, in a couple hours. We're not even sure if he can travel home with us

The 24-year-old Naylor is hitting .253 on the season with seven HR. Here's the play that may have ended his season:
