Video: Brewers' Travis Shaw Dislocates Shoulder Diving For Ground Ball

Travis Shaw was just trying to make a play and fell into some bad luck. The Milwaukee Brewers third baseman was in obvious pain after dislocating his shoulder diving for a ground ball. The play happed during the second inning of Wednesday night's game against the Cincinnati Reds.

Reds Jonathan India hit the grounder which caused all the damage, as Shaw is likely out long term. He will undergo more testing on Thursday and the Reds medical staff will set up a timetable for his return.

As manager Craig Counsell put it, this is going to give someone else a chance to step up and seize the moment. Injuries equal opportunities and Counsell also pointed out that Luis Urias will move to third after spending time at second base.
