Padres Tommy Pham is Sick and Tired of Abuse From Fans

San Diego Padres outfielder Tommy Pham has had enough of the fan abuse and he wants something done about it by the MLB. Taunts have continued towards Pham over an offseason incident where he was stabbed outside of a strip club.

Pham met with the media on Wednesday and had this to say on the matter:

I need to talk to MLB. The vulgarity this year, the gestures, I've never seen it at this level. I want to know if this is just because fans have been gone for a year and now they're back and acting a certain way. That (stuff) shouldn't be tolerated. Fans have been very disrespectful this year. I actually saw a fan who was talking (trash) to me. I saw him outside the stadium. I said, 'What's up? You still want to talk that (trash)?' He went completely blank. That just shows you people feel entitled

Pham would go on to mention how it's not out of the ordinary for insulting fans to yell things at players but the fact their chirping about an incident where he had catastrophic injuries is a bit much.  He would also mention it's way worse on the road and he's had fans removed from a game earlier this year in Houston.

Look for the 33-year-old to meet with the MLB in the next few days to discuss the abuse.
