Paul Skenes Wants To Pitch For The Yankees
An anonymous teammate of Pittsburgh Pirates young ace Phenom Paul Skenes says the Cy Young hurler wants to pitch for the New York Yankees. The team has made it clear they have no intention of trading the best young pitcher in baseball, but eventually, we know the Pirates won’t pay to keep him, so is this an inevitability?

In an article by Randy Miller , the unnamed teammate said Skenes has “no confidence the Pirates are ever going to win with him in Pittsburgh.”
“He’s hoping for a trade” well before he becomes a free agent after the 2029 season… “Trust me, he wants to play for the Yankees.. I’ve heard him say it multiple times.”
With four more years of team control, it’s hard to imagine that the Pirates would give him up. But the Yankees would undoubtedly give up the farm to get their hands on Skenes As would every other team in baseball.
The Bucs scored only 11 runs in his 10 losses this past season No doubt he’d love to have the Bronx Bombers providing offense for hi. He went 10-10 with the last place Pirates, with a spectacular 1.97 ERA ands 0.95 WHIP along with 216 strikeouts.
This will be an intriguing story to watch in the future.
