MLB Rumors: Los Angeles Dodgers Superstar Hopeful He Can Return Next Summer

The Los Angeles Dodgers were once again defeated in disappointing fashion when the playoffs rolled around in 2023, but with a superstar roster, they'll look to reload and do it all over again, with different post-season results in 2024.

While they've got plenty of money to spend on potential free agents, they've got a few of their own to deal with first, and while many expected Clayton Kershaw to announce his retirement, it appears things could be going in a very different direction.

According to insider Bob Nightengale, the veteran superstar has undergone left shoulder surgery, with the message that he is 'hopeful' for a return next summer, and after posting a 2.46 ERA through 24 starts and 131.2 innings, the 35-year old, three-time Cy Young Award winner proved he's got plenty left in the tank if a return is on the cards.
