Tommy Pham Calls Out The Work Ethic Of The New York Mets

The New York Mets 2023 MLB season has been an absolute disaster, with the team having by far the highest payroll in baseball, yet they have not been in contention for a playoff spot for the majority of the season thus far.

Underperforming stars, a lack of depth at the right positions and overpaying big stars could be seen as major reasons for that, but in a recent interview with The Athletic, veteran outfielder Tommy Pham, who was traded away from this team at the trade deadline revealed perhaps another reason why this team is failing.

Pham has been a controversial figure in baseball for a number of years now, but given the lack of success this team has had, he may be onto something here, and if Steve Cohen and the Mets want to turn it around, they'll need to fix the culture ASAP.
