Baltimore Orioles To Promote Another Talented Top Prospect

The Baltimore Orioles have had some tremendous success in 2023, and while they've got plenty of veterans playing well, it's hard to ignore the type of success they've managed to get out of the young pieces on their roster.

Now, another one will officially be joining the ranks, as the Orioles are now promoting the second overall pick from the 2020 MLB Draft Heston Kjerstad, who is currently ranked as MLB's No. 24 overall prospect.

In 122 games between AA and AAA in 2023, the versatile 24-year old has hit .303 with 21 home runs and 55 while playing solid defensively, and now, if he can make an impact at the next level, the Orioles young core will be set for years to come, with Jackson Holliday still waiting in the wings.
