Minnesota Twins Sign Right-Handed Pitcher

Joining the Minnesota Twins.

The Twins have signed pitcher Connor Sadzeck to a minor-league contract.

Sadzeck made a pair of relief appearances for the Milwaukee Brewers last season, his first appearances in the majors since the 2019 season. He then elected free agency this offseason and will now join the Twins.

For his major-league career, spanning three seasons, the thirty-one-year-old owns a 2.75 ERA, 1.53 WHIP, and 36 strikeouts across 36 innings. He's spent time with the Texas Rangers, Seattle Mariners and the Brewers.

Last season, at the Triple-A level, Sadzeck compiled an impressive 2.20 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, and 56 strikeouts over 49 innings. He made 41 relief appearances, converted three saves and held a 1-4 record.

Sadzeck gives the Twins some added organizational relief depth. He is a former 11th-round pick by the Rangers in the 2011 MLB Draft.
