MLB Rumors: San Diego Padres Shopping Pitcher

The San Diego Padres are in "World Series or bust" territory, so they are constantly looking to build to their roster. As a result of this, Ryan Weathers is becoming a trade candidate, as he is a young pitcher who rebuilding teams would love to get their hands on.

Weathers has had struggles at the major league level, but he is still just 22 years old, so he has plenty of time to emerge as a legitimate MLB pitcher. In 31 career games over the last two seasons, he put together a 4-7 record to go along with a 5.49 ERA.

Alas, we will have to wait and see if San Diego ends up moving Weathers as a part of a trade package to bring in another notable talent before the start of the year.
